Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.
First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

In this article, “Teenage Social Butterfly May Not Be Such a Bad Idea”, the author,
Melissa Healy, a Los Angeles Times news writer claims “I think the majority of kids use it in ways that won’t jeopardize their well-being”(par.11). This is very important because parents should know that being a social butterfly is a good thing unless you catch your child doing something he/she is not supposed to do.
